This research is a purseing disscution in historical viewpoint to object the appearance of Lee Kwang Soo's literature Criticism in Korean contemporary literature. In conclusion 1) In 1910th, it had a stroung illuminism to develop contemporaty literature. 2) In 1920th, it opposed decadent Literature by using of practicalism. 3) In 1930th, it opposed socialistic literature by using of nationalism. 4) In 1940th, Ironically it made pro-Janpanese nature Critticism. It looks that thease changes of criticisms stemed from the ambition to maintain their leader-ship positions. Therefore, thease criticisms consisting of wrong recognition of history represent that there is a tragical far distance between his intention and his result.
